Kate Buckle

Saxophones, Rhythm Guitar, Vocals

Multi-instrumentalist Kate plays tenor & alto sax, as well as rhythm guitar, and takes lead vocals on many of our songs - she is a big fan of the The Chicks, Gretchen Wilson, Dolly Parton, Kirsty MacColl... and gin!

Tim Badley

Lead and Acoustic Guitars, Mandolin

Tim picks a mean guitar and has played in covers bands all his (considerably long!) life. An experienced multi-instrumentalist, he cut his musical teeth as a teenager on saxophone, guitar and keyboards in soul, blues and jazz bands. In recent years, Tim spent a decade with a function band delivering a crowd-pleasing mix of rock, Motown and country.  Big fan of The Boss!

Fred Goymour

Bass, Vocals

Fred gravitated towards bass after realising that lead or rhythm guitar had two strings too many for him. Kickstarts many of the arrangements, before they get pulled apart (sorry... democratically refined) by the band. Fred is one of the two band members who were born before most of our covers were first released.

Jon Perry

Drums, Vocals

Although his professional IT background involves 0's and 1's, Jon's capabilities extend to counting to 4. This makes him supremely qualified to sit behind the drumkit, but we have yet to test him by finding a country song in 15/16 time. His ability to lead vocals and strike rhythms with all four limbs definitively lays to rest the myth of males and multi-tasking.
